Visit www.80scasuals.co.uk to purchase a limited edition MA.STRUM T shirt. Priced at £29.95.
"In support of our friends at MA STRUM we have designed a T-Shirt which embraces a part of Massimo Osti's sartorial past. The iconic Flat Iron Building was chosen by Osti as the location for C.P. Company's New York store because of its architectural and historical significance. He also thought that because it was slightly off the beaten path, it set C.P. Company apart from the pack. This was during the 90s as C.P. looked to broaden its retail horizon. Our design highlights the magnificent Flat Iron whilst incorporating the logos of MA Strum and the Massimo Osti Archive into the billboards around the building."

MO1 Project: Collaboration with 12th Man
MO1/PROJECT is a tribute to Massimo Osti’s work, five years after his passing away. It is the first in a series of projects that Massimo Osti Studio will be undertaking in honour of its founder.
Artwork that Massimo first created in the 70’s, bringing his experience as a graphic designer to the world of fashion, has been selected from the Studio’s historical archives. Four designs, originally used for posters, promotional labels and gadgets, have been brought back to life, each in a limited edition t-shirt, individually numbered 1 – 99, produced and dyed entirely in Italy, in collaboration with 12th man.
MO/PROJECT is sold exclusively on-line at:
www.mo1.it
Massimo Osti (1944 – 2005)
An inventor rather than a fashion designer, Massimo Osti has revolutionised the sportswear industry with brands such C.P. Company, Stone Island, Left Hand and Massimo Osti Production.
"Innovation, elegance, experimentation are the terms often used to describe the work of designer Massimo Osti who, at the end of the 1970s, changed the rules of fashion. He traveled off the beaten path, far from classic and traditional fabrics, inventing new, “future” weaves and discovering new materials commonly used today”
Franca Sozzani, Vogue Italy

MA.STRUM: An introduction
The MA.STRUM collection combines the archives of Massimo Osti with pioneering high tech fabrics and designs that focus on achieving optimum benefit to the wearer.
The brand principle is to provide the user with products that have the inherent qualities of timelessness, function and appeal, as well as to create silhouettes and styling that engage the senses of a wide audience. Wearable technology is integrated in various styles through fabrics and embedded accessories.
Taking a military inspiration one step further, MA.STRUM builds on a naval influence. The colour palette consists of navy blues, greys, whites, browns, and military greens, with highlights of yellow and orange.
Donrad Duncan is the designer and creator of MA.STRUM, which features styles bearing the Massimo Osti Archive label. Massimo Osti was the designer and creator of CP Company, Stone Island, Left Hand, Bonneville, Massimo Osti Production and most recently Double Use Knitwear. Osti Studio was founded in 1970 and since his passing in 2005, the studio has been managed by his son Lorenzo and daughter Agata, who are intent on carrying on the legacy by bringing to the industry unique, high quality, functional apparel through their collaboration with Donrad Duncan.
